“I'm quite convinced that cooking is the only alternative to filmmaking. Maybe there's also another alternative, that's walking on foot.”

- Werner Herzog

Ever since I picked up a camcorder and made movies in the backyard with my childhood friends, I've been interested in using moving images to tell a story. Though I do love feature films, my natural interest has always been in non-fiction.

After graduating from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, I found work in post-production. I was Lead Editor on a number of music programs and documentaries for PBS and cut a variety of promotional and corporate content. I've worked for a number of Online brands such as People TV, People Now, and Sports Illustrated TV.

While maintaining steady work in post-production, I've also remained committed to producing and directing my own films. My most recent short film for the series America Heard was featured on WNET's MetroFocus and my latest feature documentary, Psychedelia, won Best Documentary at the New Jersey International Film Festival. Footage of that film was also featured in a New York Times article about the groundbreaking research with psilocybin at NYU School of Medicine.

When I'm not working as an editor or contemplating my next project, I'm usually out hiking and camping in the mountains around Los Angeles.

It's not always about serious documentaries. I also like to dabble in various roles, like this commercial I was in for the TennisPAL app, featured on ESPN:
